Active Directory Logical Structure and its Types in Hindi

Hello friends, I'm Anshu Singh. In the last post, we discuss  What is Active Directory Structure | Features and Disadvantages of Active Directory.

Today I'm going to discuss  Active Directory Logical Structure and its Types. Without any further delay let's get started.

Active Directory Logical Structure

Logical structure administration, configuration और network के control से network management को आसान बनाता है ।

Active Directory के 4 components होते है -

1. OU(Organisation Unit)
2. Domain
3. Tree
4. Forest

उपरुक्त 4 components को container के रुप में माना जा सकता है । Geographical analogy का उपयोग करने के लिये एक OUs एक city को, एक Domain एक state को, और एक tree एक country को और एक forest  एक continent को represent करता है ।

1) OU(Organization Unit)

OU एक active directory container है जिसका प्रयोग किसी network के users resources को logical administrative units में organize करने के लिये किया जा सकता है ।

एक OU में active directory objects होते है, user accounts, shared folders, application, servers, domain controllers, group, computer accounts |

OU structure समान्यत: किसी company के administrative structure की copy करते है ।

Example- एक company प्रत्येक department के लिये एक OU बना सकता है, लेकिन एक educational institute students, teachers, और administration के लिये या campus fight के लिए अलग-अलग OU बना सकता है ।

 2) Domain

Domain Active Directory की main structure unit है । इसमे OU include होते है और यह administrative और policy boundaries को represent करता है ।

एक छोटे से medium company में समान्यत: एक single administrative group के साथ एक domain होता है । जबकि एक बडी company, कई branchs वाली company का अलग- अलग administration करने के लिये कई domain हो सकता है ।

Example- United State और Europe में मुख्य शाखाओ वाली company location के आधार पर administrative responsibilities को devide करना चाहती है ।

प्रत्येक administrative group और policies के साथ set किये गये है । यह arrangement possible language और cultural barrier को address करती है ।

3) Tree

Tree एक common naming structure को share करने वाले domain का समूह है । एक tree में एक parent domain होता है । और एक या एक से अधिक child domain होते है ।

जिनके parent domain के सामान second level और top-level domain name होते है । Tree के सभी domain common namespace को use करते है ।

Example- US.coolgadgets.com और UK.coolgadgets.com दोनो parent domain coolgadgets के child domain हैं । एक child domain में दूसरा child domain हो सकता है ।

4) Forest

Active Directory forest एक या एक से अधिक tree का समूह है । एक forest में एक single domain के साथ एक single tree हो सकता है या कई tree प्रत्येक parent और child domain hierarchy के साथ हो सकते है ।

Forest के प्रत्येक tree का अलग naming structure या name space होता है ।

Forest का मुख्य उद्देश्य common Active Directory environment provide करना होता है जिसमे सभी tree के सभी domain के साथ communicate कर सक ।
